Home time

We are totally on our way home soon!

More Zoo and heading for home

We have learned today:
- That a giraffes tongue is 40cm long and a blue colour (so that it doesn't get sun burnt … the tongue that is)
- That giraffes (unlike teachers) don't need sleep … and unlike Mrs Prior thought, don't make noises (unlike 103 Calvary students!)
- The Chambers in Parliament House are a different colour to those in Old Parliament House. In Parliament House they are Eucalypt Green and River Red Gum Red.
- The Opposition endorse 90% of the Government's bills (unlike the media would have us believe).
- That a member of the Princess's wants to walk the plank (a pirate thought!)
- A Queenslander is the President of the Senate
- The Current Speaker of the House (Harry Jenkins) is the son of a former speaker!
- The Israeli embassy along with the USA Embassy are the most heavily fortified.
- The Chinese and the USA have the largest Embassies in Canberra.
- Students can't tell the difference between right and left … or stop and go … or how to walk in a straight line.
- Finally, that everyone will sleep VERY well tonight, and quite possibly most of tomorrow!
